SABR Visit-2010

SABR Visit

The Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum was honored to welcome members of SABR on Saturday, August 7 for a special tour.   The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is the nation's leading organization for research, preservation, and dissemination of the history and records of baseball.

SABR held their 40th Annual Convention earlier in the week in Atlanta and over 100 members and guests made a special bus trip to Greenville to visit the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Research Library.

We thank SABR for their interest in Shoeless Joe and the excellent work they perform in promoting, preserving and sharing the authoritative history of baseball.  Please enjoy these photos from the SABR visit.
